LSBS use SolidCam for the creation of part programmes from the CAD model directly into the C.N.C. machines.

Solidcam is fully integrated inside Solidwork giving maximum model integrity, the software can generate programmes for all machine tools including 5-axis milling.

LSBS Ltd has a wide variety of machine tools at its disposal including:

• 4 axis Wire –cut – Includes taper cutting
• 3 axis milling – capable of full 3 dimensional milling
• 2 axis lathe (capable of turning down to 0.010” diameters and threading 10 BA pins)
• Conventional die-sink
• Access to many other machines within the world of sub-contract engineering companies

This blend of machine tools enables the manufacture of any part within shotguns and rifles with the exception of the tubes for barrel fabrication.
